Platform Version Update: Version 20

On January 15th 2024, 1010data Insights Platform Version 20 is scheduled to be released, which includes performance improvements, GUI enhancements, and AI-powered Copilot capability. Learn more: Version 20 Release Notes

  • Please note that we still recommend logging into your default platform version – There is no change to how you should log into 1010data. Consumer Insights Platform has not yet been updated for use with version 20; when this occurs, client environments will be updated automatically, and a separate announcement will be sent.
  • Your custom queries and applications using /prime-latest may not work in version 20 until they are adapted for the new version. If you encounter issues, please return to your current version by clicking Session > Log Out, then log in as you usually do.
  • We are eager for your feedback on the Insights Platform. Please contact Customer Support to share your thoughts about the new version.

Now Available – CIP and Platform Enhancements

  • New metrics are available in the Basket Combination Report, Cross Purchase Matrix, and Quick Facts Scorecard.
  • Other CIP Enhancements include updated Affinity by Basket logic, tooltips for metric definitions and new summarization options.
  • Platform Enhancements include improved Object Manager search and the ability to rename cross tabulation columns.

DG Internal Users: Enhancements to the Discounts, Tenders and Transactions Tables

Effective on Friday, March 11th , The Discounts, Tenders and Transactions tables will be built using the unaudited sales feed. This change will enable Dollar General users to access this information one day earlier. These tables will be updated with the audited data once available. Now Available – New Shrink Report and Damages Report, CIP Report Enhancements, and Demand Chain Report Enhancements

  • The Shrink Report allows users to streamline loss reporting and offers a consistent way to analyze store shrink by item.
  • The Damages Report allows consistent usage of markdowns data, which improves collaboration around damages events and identifies root causes of item damages.
  • CIP Enhancements include new POG Rollup Summarizations, IMU and Return Metrics, and DC Service Line (DCSL) Metrics.
  • Demand Chain Report Enhancements include new “Report Generated On” Date Label, DC Summarization in the In Stock Report, and Product Filter in the Trailing 6 Week Sales Report (T6).

Now Available – Updated Custom Table Manager SKU Expansion Logic

The Custom Table Manager now has an updated Expand SKUs checkbox logic for Product > Item SKU and Primary SKU. The SKU expansion functionality allows you to create custom tables that expand your Primary SKUs and Item SKUs to the Item SKU level.

It is recommended that any users who have created custom tables using the old sku expansion functionality update the existing custom lists. For more details on how to create new expanded Item SKU lists or update existing expanded Item SKU lists, please refer to this document.

  • New Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPIS) “Pickup” metrics in CIP Sales Trend and Sales Scorecard Reports. Use Store Pickup Sales Item Detail (dg.cip.storepickup_item) for ad-hoc analysis.
  • Assortment Modeler Report allows future modeler visibility for all historical, live, and future modelers for resets occurring up to 60 days in the future (based on login date) and contains new Actual USW v. Forecast Index and L4W Actual USW v. Forecast Index metrics. All future modelers are available in the underlying data tables.
  • Store Band Filter and Summarization Options in CIP are available in Sales Trend, Supply Chain, and Inventory Trend reports and allows ability to cluster stores together based on the sales volume by class.
  • DC Service Level Report contains new metrics: Demand in Units, Xout Units, EoP DC Inv Units, and In Stock %.
  • In Stock Report contains a new In Stock % metric.
