1010data v16 Upgrade Complete!

The 1010data team has completed tonight’s upgrade! You now have access to:
• More responsive platform, including a redesigned Scheduler
• 30% faster CIP reports, including new reports such as Post Reset Tracking and Top POGs
• New geographic visualizations for custom applications
• Next-gen API, Python, SQL connectivity for data science and analytics needs, and much more!

New folders and reporting solutions (including COVID-19 reporting)

  • Domain Folders: New! You will see some additional folders in the 1010data root folder. These folders, called “Domain” folders are meant to better organize tables on 1010data that make sense to be grouped together. In some cases, this grouping may be by source (e.g., RSL) or type (e.g., Master Data, Summary). There are some newer tables included but in most cases just for easier access. This will not affect any existing reporting as no tables have been moved.
  • Covid Severity Attribute: A new calculated dimension, Covid Severity, allows users to see how their business has been impacted by new COVID-19 cases, in real-time. This dimension groups stores into buckets based on how severely their surrounding area is impacted by COVID-19.
  • State of the Basket Scorecard: Available under Other Dollar General Reports section in CIP Report Launcher, the scorecard provides quick access to key metrics surrounding baskets at the class or SKU level, useful during line reviews and postmortems. Co-purchase metrics allow users to identify successful product adjacencies and opportunities for cross-promotion.
  • Historical Sales Trend Report: Available under Sales section in CIP Report Launcher, this Sales Trend Report that allows users to report on historical sales data going as far back as fiscal year 2009.

New Reports Available In Report Launcher

  • The POG Space Efficiency Report allows users to compare the dollar and unit space efficiency of items within POGs or across categories, useful in determining if items or categories are over or under-spaced.
  • The Sales Productivity Report provides insight into planogram performance surrounding Line Reviews and Postmortems.
  • The Promotional Report offers daily insight into all promotional activities across the total category, including competitor’s promotions, with granularity down to item level.
  • The Assortment Modeler Report utilizes modeler data to align with Dollar General’s item-level forecasting and allows for pinpointing assortment changes, tracking new items, and understanding the impact of discontinued SKUs.
